Overview: What is the CAPM Certification?
The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAMP) is a valuable entry-level certification for project practitioners. Minimum Requirements
Before a person is can take the PMP examination, he must meet a minimum set of eligibility requirements. A person is eligible to take the PMP examination if he meets one of the following sets of eligibility requirements.

Before you can take the CAPM examination, you must complete and submit an application to PMI. The application serves to document your education and work experience and must be submitted to and approved by PMI before you can take the CAPM examination. The application will ask you to provide your contact information, level of education attained, work experience and education within the field of project management.
The application review process typically takes one to two weeks. You will be notified via e-mail once your application is
approved.

CAPM exams are computer based and conducted at testing facilities throughout the world. You must take your CAPM exam within 1 year from the date that your application is approved.
